In 2012 I was commissioned by the owners of a private residence, close to Bandol in the south of France,
to shoot a series of images of their property, designed by the renowned architect, Rudy Ricciotti.
The house had already been shot many times for various editorial publications - I myself had already
shot it for Wallpaper* Magazine -
and the owners were very keen for the images to be different to more traditional editorial images
and for the project as a whole to show a particular sensitivity to the style of the property.
It evolved into a really interesting and complicated project for me and helped dramatically to develop my understanding of shooting at night time.
